Imagine you are preparing a project with your friend.

You have found some interesting material for the presentation and you want to read this text to your friend. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, then Be ready to read it out loud. You will have not more than 1.5 minutes to read it.

The heated debate if schools should have a standard dress code or whether students should be given freedom to wear whatever they themselves find appropriate has been going on for years. So far it has resulted in the decision of some schools to introduce compulsory school uniforms.

Advantages of making uniforms obligatory are rather sounding. The main supporting argument is that wearing uniform reduces social conflict in schools. Frequently, school bullying is the result of how a person dresses up. Students who are unable to follow the latest fashion trends are often a butt of joke for others. This can be avoided if students dress up in uniform. However, while administrators claim that wearing uniform encourages equality and proper behavior and discourages gangs and offensive clothing, most students feel that dress codes restrict their ability of self-expression.

If your high school has a stringent dress code and you are wonied you might look like everybody else, you can still distinguish yourself from the crowd.
